Founded in 1912 by d’Arry Olson, the Olson family has passed on the love and passion of wine from generation to generation. Today, the fourth generation is making distinctive wines using traditional methods both in the vineyard and in the winery. 2016 The Hermit Crab
A blend of Viognier and Marsanne, this medium – bodied wine delivers the best of both grapes. The Viognier takes center stage with stone fruits, candied ginger and florals on the nose. While the Marsanne adds slightly more exotic notes of green mango and almond. Fruity and spicy, yet dry makes this an all occasions wine.
Born and raised an hour from Napa Valley, Charles did not discover his love for wine until he moved to Europe to manage a number of rock bands. It was the wining and dining of a rock ‘n’ roll life on the road that sparked Charles’ passion for great wine. In 1999, while on a road trip to Walla Walla, WA, Charles met a winemaker who convinced him to start making his own wine, true to his own story and vision. In 2001, he released 330 cases of his first vintage and was named Winemaker of the Year by Food & Wine magazine just 8 years later.
